Birthday Party - Start of the Centenary SeasonThe orchestra's 100th Birthday Party was held on 8 December 2004, 100 years to the day and in the exact same venue where the NSSO gave its first public concert, Burslem Old Town Hall. Almost 140 sponsors, Friends, guests, past and present orchestra members, and current and former conductors attended the rather special event.
